For this particular stay, I checked in with a manager that knows me already for how much I frequent this resort when I have time to getaway. He was attentive and courteous. I told him I needed a nice room because I was there celebrating my wife’s birthday and I was delighted with the room I was given. However I decided to book this resort again for my birthday weekend which was the weekend of March 15-18 and was extremely disappointed. The manager that usually attends me was not there. I have frequented this resort for over 10 years and have always booked a 1 bedroom or larger. I was given a studio instead, without a bathtub and without a dining table. It was the worse & most uncomfortable room I ever had. My guests had to all stand, singing happy birthday was the worse. My son with autism did not have a tub to bathe in. When I complained about not having seats, someone left baby high chairs in my room. We did not have babies. No attempt was made to accommodate our 3 night birthday celebration stay besides sending up some high chairs that were not needed. I wish I had received the same customer service the weekend of March 15 that I received for my wife’s weekend of Feb 22nd. Unfortunately not all staff has great customer service, even after you have been a guest for over 10 years! Oh and there was no working WiFi in that particular awful room so my children could not even get on their electronic devices.
